Dear Center Community,

Research says that volunteering lowers stress levels leading to lower blood pressure which leads to a healthy heart. This is all good, really good, but that's not the main reason people volunteer.

One of our active volunteers says, "I love to volunteer with the Center for Community Dialogue because I am passionate about encouraging healthy dialogue. Engaging in mutually respectful and mutually beneficial communication with our neighbors is a giant step toward creating a stronger community in Tucson; and that's exciting!"

Are you interested in making a difference?

Join us for the Volunteer Information Session
Thursday, July 28
5:30 - 7:30 pm

Location: Our Family Services
3830 East Bellevue Street

Healthy and yummy snacks provided

Volunteers play a crucial role in the delivery of services for the Center through mediation, elder mediation, Elder Circles and other ongoing Circles, community forums, facilitation, workshops, and training. If you are interested in helping Southern Arizonans have meaningful conversations in a skilled, civil and respectful way come learn about what we do and how you can be involved.

We'll have active volunteers from our various services on hand to provide information, share their experiences, and answer your questions.

Please click here to RSVP for the Volunteer Information Session.

Feel free to share this invitation with friends and colleagues and let me know if you have any questions.

Warmly,
Catherine Tornbom
