Ku'ikahi Mediation Center co-sponsors DEALING WITH ANGER: STEPS TO UNDERSTANDING & TRANSFORMATION. Facilitated by Mala'e Erikson, this FREE WORKSHOP takes place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at UH-Hilo Campus Center Room 301. You can transform anger from blaming others to connecting with what is important to you. Although it can be one of the most painful emotions, anger serves an important purpose, and we can use it to serve life. In this interactive workshop, explore the steps to understanding and expressing anger nonviolently, so no one gets hurt. Pupus will be provided. Campus parking is free after 4:00 pm. Part of the "Kakou: Let's Work it Out!" Workshop Series, this program is co-sponsored by the County of Hawai'i Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, Ku'ikahi Mediation Center, Rotary Club, and University of Hawai'i at Hilo. Free (click here to register online). For more info, call Majidah at 935-7844 x 3 or email majidah@hawaiimediation.org.
