FAQs

Successful completion of this course and an additional 20 hours of “lab” observation and co-mediation in semi-monthly small claims magistrate court generally qualifies participants to serve as volunteer mediators for the Midlands Mediation Center (MMC). If choosing the 40-hour option, you will need to complete a MMC volunteer mediator application after the classroom portion.

Disclaimer: Completion of this training course does not result in a certification in mediation nor does it provide an expectation of work or income from mediation.

Refund Policy

In the event of cancellation of registration prior to Jan. 19, a partial refund (less $25) will be available. After Jan. 19, no refund is offered. However, a paid registration may be applied to a future training series. You must attend all session to receive a certificate of attendance, and no refund will be made for missed sessions.
