Parking is available in the Rodin Place Garage, $10/day if you are in by 9:00 a.m.





Good Shepherd Mediation Program, Philadelphia's only nonprofit community mediation center, offers a 24-hour workshop that will train you to become a mediator.


The training format includes mini-lecture, video, individual, small, and large group exercises, role-playing family, neighborhood, and small claims mediation.


You must attend all 24 hours to receive a Certificate of Completion.


Trainees, you may be invited to volunteer at GSMP following successful completion of the course.




Cheryl Cutrona has been the Executive Director of the Good Shepherd Mediation Program for 28 years. She is an attorney, mediator, conflict coach, trainer, arbitrator, editor, and adjunct faculty at Temple University Klein School of Media and Communication. She mediates for the PA Department of Education Office of Dispute Resolution, the Philadelphia Bar Association Lawyer Fee Disputes panel, and the United States Postal Service REDRESS. Cutrona sits on the Philadelphia Bar Association Family Law Section ADR Committee (Co-Chair), the Philadelphia Bar Association Lawyer Fee Disputes Committee (Co-Chair), the Editorial Board of Conflict Resolution Quarterly and the Pennsylvania Bar Association ADR Committee (Co-Chair). She served on the Board of the PA Council of Mediators for more than 20 years.  She is the 2008 recipient of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee "Sir Francis Bacon Dispute Resolution Award" and was named "Most Valuable Peacemaker" by the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators in 2010. Cutrona holds a BA from Michigan State University, a Masters in Library Science from Wayne State University, and a JD from Temple University, Beasley School of Law.
