We need great facilitation skills for meetings or projects to achieve successful outcomes.

A skilled facilitator ensures that all voices are heard, key messages understood, and that there is commitment by everyone. Facilitation is becoming an even more important job skill because organizations need people who know how to harness diversity of perspective and channel this productively.

In this one-day course, you will learn to engage your team so that they can bring their best thinking forward.

We will look at and practice skills and tools including: planning desired outcomes, using ground rules, understanding group dynamics, creating meeting structures to support inclusion, selecting tools that help the group move forward, designing a realistic agenda, engaging participants and sharing responsibility, recording outcomes and action steps, and embracing a culture of ongoing learning.

Led by:  Maggie Ellis Chotas and Will Dudenhausen
