NAFCM Member Community Dispute Settlement Center (CDSC) is hosting its annual fundraising celebration, THE BASH, on Thursday, October 11, at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This year, Gail S. Packer, Executive Director of the CDSC, will be honored with the Community Peacemaker Award.

Gail joined CDSC in 1988 with a background in clinical social work and more than 10 years experience in the Probate and Family Courts. Gail’s passion, dedication, knowledge and experience is known and respected far and wide. Her immense contributions have enabled CDSC to be an acknowledged leader in the mediation community, garnering great respect and admiration from all. Whether she is teaching Cambridge youth skills in managing conflict or training the StreetWorkers who are on the front lines of gang violence in Boston, Gail has devoted her life to conflict resolution.
For over 30 years Gail has trained thousands of individuals in conflict management and mediation. Gail’s passion for peacemaking and her strong leadership have contributed to the Community Dispute Settlement Center’s success, making CDSC an invaluable resource to the Metro Cambridge/Boston community.
